Check out some of these amazing animations created by 3rd trimester 6th and 10th period 8th grade students!
See the rest on the 3rd trimester, 8th grade blog: www.chute-media-arts8th.weebly.com Wondering why I have been filming students working in class the past couple weeks?! Here's the video I made to apply to be an Apple Distinguished Educator. I had such a great time surfing through our archives and viewing how much Chute Media Arts has transformed in the past eight years! Thank you to all the students and staff who participated and helped me gather footage and photos of everything we do. I am so proud to work at such a wonderful place with so many outstanding and creative people! Enjoy the video! Here's the video that Advanced Media Arts students created with tips for using your new iPads!
Props to Tess, Michaela, Ruby, Diane, Hannah, Nya, Thea, Charles, Mrs. Calloway, Mr. Ferrer, and Mrs. Kushner! 8th grade Media Arts students used Photobooth to take pictures of their heads. They cut them out in Photoshop CS6, then added a body and saved three versions of themselves with their heads moving in different directions. They uploaded their three .jpg images onto gifmaker.me and adjusted the animation speed, then downloaded their .gif animations to post on the web. Great work, 8th graders!
